The BIG Lesson

The BIG Lesson has the following registration opportunities now available:

Potter Park Zoo is hosting one or two classes for each week September-April.  Cost of BZL 2024-25 is $40 per student.  If you are a new BZL teacher, training is required and will be held in Fall 2024.

Five nature centers in the Capital Region are hosting Annie's BIG Nature Lesson (Bengel, Fenner, Harris, Lincoln Brick, and Woldumar). Cost for ABNL 2024-25 is $400 per class for the Fall and Spring seasons. If you choose January or February, the cost is $200 per class (space is limited).

All new ABNL teachers are required to participate in the orientation workshop, held in Fall 2024. All costs for the orientation are covered by the grants (substitute and materials).  In addition, there is a bus subsidy available for all ABNL teachers, up to $500 for your ABNL week.
